  • Grapes: 100% Sangiovese “grosso” (so called because of its deep color)

  • Maximum quantity of grapes produced per hectare: 6 tons

  • Green pruning of grape bunches in August

  • Harvest: entirely by hand, in October

  • Vinification: traditional steeping on the skins for about 25 days with trough pumping (three times a day in the initial stage)

  • Aging: 3 years in precious Slavonian oak cask of 6 tons capacity

  • Aging in bottle: 6 months

  • Average alcoholic content: 14 grade
