  • Grapes: 100% Sangiovese “grosso” (so called because of its deep color)

  • Maximun quantity of grapes produced per hectare: 6 tons

  • Green pruning bunches of grapes in August

  • Harvest: entirely by hand, in October

  • Vinification: traditional steeping on the skins for about 25 days with trough pumping (three times a day in the initial stage) in Slavonian oak tank

  • Aging: 3 years – 50% in French oak tonneaux of 5 tons and 50% in Slavonian oak cask of 6 tons

  • Aging in bottle: 18 months

  • Average alcoholic content: 14 grade
