ROSSO DI MONTALCINO D.O.C.

  • Grapes: 100% Sangiovese “grosso”

  • Maximum quantity of grapes produced per hectare: 8 tons

  • Green pruning of grape bunches in July/August

  • Harvest: entirely by hand, in October

  • Vinification: traditional steeping on the skins for about 15 days with trough pumping ( three times a day)

  • Aging: 6 months in precious Slavonian oak cask

  • Aging in bottle: 90 days

  • Average alcoholic content: 13 grade
